The Boston Police Department released a poster of six of their most wanted fugitives, which includes a suspected Caribbean festival shooter.
They include two names familiar to Herald readers.
Gerald Vick
Vick, 31, of Dorchester, is wanted on eight counts of assault and battery with a firearm, according to the wanted poster. He was charged in Suffolk Superior Court on those charges as well as unlawful possession of a machine gun, unlawful possession of a firearm, and firearm use in commission of a felony. He’s one of the men charged with shooting at rivals during the 2023 J’Ouvert Parade through Dorchester that kicked off Boston’s annual Caribbean festival. In all, six people were shot.
Elias Jerome Sudler
Sudler made headlines in 2018 when he fled from the police during a traffic stop, leading to an hours-long manhunt. Finally, police were able to arrest him on sexual assault and kidnapping charges on I-495 in Haverhill.
At that time, Sudler had a 19-page rap sheet that included a failed escape attempt from a prisoner transport van, according to previous Herald reporting, and multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest from Boston to New Bedford, accusing him of stalking, kidnapping, restraining order violations, assault and battery, and more, court records state.
The BPD is searching for him on firearms and drug trafficking charges.
Others
In addition to those two, the BPD is also looking for Christopher Anderson on aggravated assault and battery, mayhem, and armed robbery charges; Antonio Lorgeree on aggravated assault and larceny charges; Omobowale Wright on a charge of malicious destruction of property over $1,200; and Josephine Simard on charges of larceny from a building and attempt to commit a crime.
Police ask that anyone knows anything about these fugitives to call the CrimeStoppers tip line at 1-800-494-TIPS or text the word TIP to CRIME (27463).
